My Thoughts: There is nothing “soft” about employee engagement. This article shows some of the “hard” evidence to that fact.

When employees leave a job where they earned $30,000 or less, it takes 16 percent of that salary for employers to replace them. My Thoughts: Managers who think that minimum wage employees can be cheaply and easily replaced? Well, the numbers show a different story.
(Chron) “Nationwide, organizations that ranked as Top Workplaces by WorkplaceDynamics reported, on average, a 67 percent employee engagement rate, according to our surveys in 2015. That compares with 32 percent employee engagement for all U.S. workers, according to the most recent Gallup poll.”
